Please keep the family and friends of Stephen Zachary “Zach” Martin in your thoughts and prayers. Zach was 38 years old, and passed suddenly and unexpectedly December 9, 2020, just one day before his 39th birthday.
Zach was a fun loving, smart, charismatic, and all-around legendary human. He was a great cook, artist and lover of all music. He was known for his quick wit and infectious smile. Zach also had a love for exploring new places which inspired him to embark upon a cross-country RV trip with his family from California to Pittsburgh, where he lived until his untimely death. He was a bright light in this world, and he will be sorely missed by all. His light will continue to shine and live on in all of our hearts and memories.
Zach was a dedicated and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving partner, Alexis Demchenko and their two beautiful young boys, Paul and Albe Martin, whom he absolutely adored. He is also survived by his parents, Steve and Barbara Martin, his sisters, Lisa, Evie and Caitlin, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held once Covid restrictions are lifted. Our family so appreciates the outpouring of care and support during this difficult time and asks that any gifts or donations in Zach’s name go to supporting his wife and children with the costs that accompany an unexpected death. Contributions can be made to the Zach Martin Memorial Fund by following this Go Fund Me link: https://gf.me/u/zcb78z . Donations can also be made to the charitable organization, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
