Sister Mary Henrietta Pusvaskis

Sister Mary Henrietta Pusvaskis, a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God for 75 years died on April 24, 2015, at the age of 93. Born August 31, 1921 in Ansonia, CT, she was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings. She is survived by nieces and nephews.

She served first as Director of Nursing and then Vice President at Good Samaritan Hospital, in Mt. Vernon, IL for 40 years. Returning to the Motherhouse, she served in the Personnel Office for the next 21 years, beginning a Ministry of Prayer in 2011. Friends will be received at the Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God Motherhouse on Monday, April 27 from 2-8 pm with a wake service at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 28 at 10:00 am in the Motherhouse chapel.
