Sean Michael Hamilton

Please keep the family and friends of Sean Michael Hamilton in your thoughts and prayers. Sean was 48 years of age, lived in Hazelwood and entered into rest Sunday, November 24, 2024. He was born November 18, 1976 to Robert W. Hamilton and Margaret Kelly Hamilton. 

Sean attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, worked at Samson Funeral Home and developed an interest in hearses. He later worked as a Personal Banker for Wells Fargo. Family and friends were very important to him along with his pets. He will surely be missed.

Besides his parents Sean is survived by his spouse, Troy Baum Gartner, his sister Erin O’Neil, her husband Michael, and their children Joseph “Joey” and Kaitlyn; his step-daughter Lindsay Shephard, her husband Mason, and children Brysen, Adalynn, and Caysen; his mother-in-law Mary Marlene Graham and his uncle Andrew R. Kelly.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, November 26, 2024, 6:00pm-8:00pm at Vereb Funeral Home (formerly O’Connor’s), 5106 Second Avenue, 15207, 412-521-8116 Services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday morning at 11 am. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217. In lieu of flowers pleas send donations in Sean's name to the local Humane Animal  Rescue Pittsburgh, 1101 Western Ave., Pittsburgh PA 15233
