Michael J. Elson, Sr.

Mr. Elson was 77 years of age, was a lifelong resident of Chicago Heights, a graduate of Bloom High School, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He retired after 40 years of service as a Supervisor for Ford Motor Co. Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights.
He is survived by Ruthie Sheller Elson, his beloved wife of 46 years. Father of Michael J. (Eden Pitlik) Elson Jr., Shaun (Judy) Elson and Erik (Teresa) Elson. Grandfather of Anya, Drake, Alexis, Adam and Isabella. Brother of Linda (late Louis) Costabile, Sheila Whaley, Kyle (late Richard) Kiltz and Daniel (Diane) Elson. Uncle and dear friend of many.
Friends received Tuesday 2 -4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the John D. O’Connor and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Patrick Vereb, FD, 5106 Second Avenue, 15207, 412-521-8116. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stephen Parish Church, Wednesday, December 9th at 10 AM.
