Please keep the family and friends of Joseph Lee Bolton, Sr. “Joelee” in your thoughts and prayers. Joseph was 72 years of age, lived in Glen Hazel, and entered into rest May 24, 2022. He was born July 3,1949 to the late Joseph and Ruby Brown Bolton. He cherished the times and conversations he had with his mother and was known for baking cakes for the holidays. He enjoyed track and graduated from Fifth Avenue High School and studied accounting in CCAC. He also graduated from Hardy Bible School. He was a veteran and served in the US Army. He furthered his service by working at the VA Hospital as a counselor. He professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined the Praise Temple Deliverance Church in 2018. He was devout member, deacon, and Sunday school instructor to the youth. He was loved by all and became a personal friend to Pastor Lutual M. Love, Sr. He is survived by his wife Andrea Stewart Bolton; He is the father of Joseph Lee Bolton, Jr; Antoine Porterfield; Antoinette Latoya Porterfield; Nicole Porterfield-Miller and her husband David; Andre`y Bolton; and the late Danielle Upshaw. He is the brother of Tab Bolton and his wife Michelle; Ruth Milliones and her husband Larry; Pauline Callahan and her husband Jessie; Darlene Battle; and Theresa Anderson and her husband Walter. He will surely be missed by his eleven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Arrangements entrusted to the John D. O’Connor and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 5106 Second Avenue, 15207, 412-521-8116, Patrick Vereb Supervisor, FD. Visitation with the family Thursday, June 2, 2022, 11 AM until Noon. At Noon, Pastor Lutual M. Love, Sr will conduct a Going Home Service. Interment to follow at the National Veterans Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
