John F Mcdonough

McDonough, John F. [Jack] age 90, of Hazelwood on September 28, 2013.
Son of the late Francis and Pearl Dwyer McDonough, Beloved Husband of the late Gloria Williams McDonough. He attended Central District Catholic High School and was a 1950 Graduate of Duquesne University. He served in the US Navy during WWII and The Korean War. He was an employee of Columbia Gas for 23 years. He enjoyed train travel and photography. Jack is survived by his daughters: Jackie McDonough and Pam [Mark] Samolis; his grandsons: Matthew and Daniel Samolis; and his niece: Lynn McDonough Price.
Friends received Tuesday, October 1, 2013, 2PM to 8PM at the John D. O’Connor and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 5106 Second Avenue, 15207, 412-521-8116 and again prior to the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephens Parish, 5115 Second Ave, Pgh. PA 15207, Wednesday , October 2, 2013 at 10 AM.
