Frank William West

Please keep the family and friends of Frank William West in your thoughts and prayers. Frank was 78 years of age, lived in Pittsburgh and entered into rest December 3, 2022 in Longwood Florida. He was born April 30, 1944 to the late William L. West, Sr. and Mamie Lee Smith West. Beloved father of Keith Greene and LaFrani West and her children LaKenya Simon-West, Tey Shonnia Bealer-West, Tuywpacz Bealer, Taszabza Bealer, and Franks great-grand child Tyus Frank Bealer. Frank also is survived by his sisters-Rosemarie Austin, Pamela West, and Janet Pennington and her husband Alfred, and his brother Jeffery West. He is predeceased by his parents and brothers James Smith and William L. West, Jr.

Frank was a US Veteran serving upon the USS Ticonderoga (CV-14). It was an aircraft carrier built during WWII for the US Navy. He was retired from the Public Works Department in San Diego, CA.

Friends received Friday evening, December 9, 2022, 6 PM - 8 PM at the Vereb Funeral Home (Formerly O’Connor’s)              5106 Second Avenue, 15207, 412-521-8116.  Interment will be in The National Cemetery of The Alleghenies.
