Bernadette Margaret Diamond

March 20, 1962 — December 20, 2022

Please keep the family and friends of Bernadette Margaret Diamond in your hearts and prayers. Bernie was 60 years of age, lived in Hazelwood and on December 20, 2022 reunited with her son Jimmy, “an angel made in Heaven” June 7, 2017.

She was born March 20, 1962 to the late Jerry Mancine and Margaret Fox Mancine. She was the beloved wife of J.D. Diamond, mother of Alicia Diamond and her children Aaliyah and Dimante; and Nikki Diamond and her son Anthony. She is also survived by her brother Jerry Mancini and his wife Tracy.

Bernie’s family was her prized procession. Her contagious laugh will always be remembered. She was a die-hard Steeler Fan and never quit loving Jimmy, the love of her life. She would kindly tell you the exact number of days that went by, knowing that someday they would be together again. That number reached 2,022.

Friends received at the Vereb Funeral Home (Formerly O’Connor’s), 5106 Second Avenue, 15207, 412-521-8116, Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A mass to celebrate her life will be held in St. Paul Cathedral Parish- St. Rosalia Church, Greenfield, Tuesday at 10 AM.

The family will receive friends to share lunch following mass at the Spartan Center, directly behind St. Stephen’s Church.
