Hernandez, John Peter
Age 55, of Butler, formerly of Shaler passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot, PA. Born December 27, 1960 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Hector S. and the late Patricia Hannigan Hernandez. In addition to his father he is survived by his wife Diane Dunbar, two daughters: Rachel Hernandez and Nancy [Mike] Shtur, two grandchildren: Layla and Samuel Schtur, Brother of: Tina Burkintas, Phyllis (William) Coughanour, Carl (Amy), Joseph (Lucinda), and James Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez is also survived by three step children, two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 4 PM at the Shalercrest Community Building, 272 Mt. Vernon Drive, Pittsburgh PA 15223. Visitation with the family continued on until 9 PM. He will be sadly missed, but will always be with us in our hearts.
